Detailed description

Making and Ageing

A wine grown between Casa de Utiel and Caudete de las Fuentes by one of the oldest wineries of the Requena-Utiel Regulatory Council. The winery was funded in 1886; the wine is made with the centenarian classic bobal which grows on rocky and gently sloping grounds. Production per vine is hardly a kilo whose harvest i    s by hand. In the winery grapes are handled as less as possible with the aim of preserving the most of the aromatic fruit character. Vinification takes place in the traditional way, inside old cement slammers and later ageing is undertaken during eleven months inside american oak barrels.

Tasting

At sight cherry-red colour which dyes the glass.

Very expressive aromas of red fruits and wild black : plums, blackberries, blueberries, blackthorns and a soft touch with a smoky end.

In mouth is a frank, strong and powerful wine with already polished tanines by the time, soft and pleasant, balsamic memories, alive and long aged.
