Detailed description
Red Wine Paco García Seis is a wine designed for young people. It is a red one of Rioja Media, 100% Tempranillo, harvested a bit later than usual, grown in a vineyard placed in altitude. Made by the good work of Juan Bautista García, winemaker of Wineries Paco García. The name of this Paco García's young oak comes from the place wich grapes are grown, the Finca Seis, property of the family, nearby the villages of Murillo and Ventas Blancas at the Qualified Place Name Rioja.
Making and Ageing
This is a wine fermented at a lower temperature than usual for a red one, about 21ºC, almost as it was a white wine in order to try to boost more the aromas and the ageing of six months in a French oak barrel. A Rioja wine which has been made "looking for the highest expressivity of the grape, trying to squeeze all the possible aromas of the Tempranillo and keeping a sweet and harmonious palate" according to the words of the winemaker Juan Bautista.
Tasting
Ruby red and blackberry colour, clean and brilliant.
In nose it is an aromatic explosion. Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and violets.
In mouths it is a very intensive wine, very fusty (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and violets). Intense entrance in mouth as well as its aromas, fruity flavours, floral tones (violets), sweet (blackberries). Very harmonious. Long and placid aftertaste.
Pairing
Ideal for light cheese, salads, white meat and fish. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
